Location: White River National Forest, Colorado
I try and get away for a little time each fall to capture the changing aspens. This photo was taken in the largest aspen grove I have ever been in while walking through the White River National Forest. I was a little early in the season, but within a few days a huge storm took down many of the most colorful leaves. Standing in the middle of a giant aspen grove, watching and listening to the leaves flittering in the wind on a bluebird day was an incredibly peaceful experience.
The aspect ratio of the final crop may differ slightly from the screen version.
